Sales Account Executive
Location: Tampa, FL – In Office
About the Role
We are seeking Sales Account Executives to join our dynamic freight and logistics team. The ideal candidate will have freight brokering experience and potentially a book of business but also be responsible for generating new business across multiple transportation modes including Full Truckload (FTL), Box Truck, Sprinter Van, Drayage, and Less Than Truckload (LTL) services.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and secure new customer relationships across various freight transportation modes
● Calculate and provide competitive freight pricing quotes
● Coordinate with the Carrier Sales Team for freight execution
● Manage customer communications and operational duties during the first year
● Build and maintain strong carrier relationships
● Conduct regular customer visits and maintain ongoing relationships
● Handle operational communication
● Continue involvement in quoting and relationship management after transitioning to Account Manager support
Skills & Qualifications
● Experience in freight sales and logistics (required)
● Sales experience
● Cold Calling Experience
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills
● Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
● Proficiency in relevant technology and CRM/TMS systems
