MIG Welder
1st shift $24/hr
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding sheet metal and structural components used in custom industrial equipment. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, produce high-quality welds, and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and sheet metal components.

Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.

Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts according to specifications.

Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.

Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.

Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication tools.

Work closely with engineering and production teams to complete projects on schedule.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.

Assist with equipment assembly and installation as needed.

Perform quality checks and make adjustments to meet customer and company standards.
Qualifications:
-
Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Experience working with sheet metal and structural steel.

Proficient with measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and calipers.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Welding certification is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills:

MIG welding experience.

Mechanical assembly experience.

Experience building industrial equipment, enclosures, or custom fabricated products.

Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and quality procedures.
