We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Supply & Logistics Analyst to support the procurement, logistics, and optimization of propane supply across our network. This role is responsible for coordinating product movement, analyzing supply opportunities, managing inventory forecasts, and supporting strategic supply initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys using data to drive operational and financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor propane inventory levels across bulk plant locations to ensure reliable supply.
- Manage truck/rail logistics and dispatch, tracking shipments, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring timely product flow to both internal and external customers.
- Oversee freight and product payables by validating pricing, verifying invoice accuracy, and resolving discrepancies with suppliers and transportation providers.
- Prepare and process invoices for wholesale customers, ensuring accurate pricing, product volumes, freight charges, and timely billing.
- Maintain accurate and timely data within company systems.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with third-party transportation providers.
- Assist with supplier contract administration, performance analysis, and procurement support.
- Provide timely market intelligence and supply updates to field operations.
- Create and enhance reporting tools that measure supply performance, identify arbitrage opportunities, and improve operational visibility.
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on improving supply chain efficiency, cost management, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in propane or energy supply chain and logistics.
- Experience with rail logistics is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.
