Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security D Officer AM/FLEX to uphold safety and security standards across our facilities. This dynamic role involves monitoring premises, managing access points, and responding swiftly to incidents to ensure a secure environment for all staff, visitors, and assets. Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and detect suspicious behavior
- Control access points by verifying identities, issuing passes, and managing visitor logs
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards
- Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms or disturbances, with appropriate action and escalation when necessary
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting findings accordingly
- Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional help arrives
- Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally, ensuring safety for all parties involved
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance tools such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are advantageous
- Familiarity with security procedures, emergency response protocols, and law enforcement collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and composure
