Overview
Mike Miller Law is seeking a workers’ compensation paralegal to join our Clinton office. The candidate must have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and accuracy at a high-volume law firm. The candidate will work in a team environment, but also will be expected to work independently, to prioritize tasks, and demonstrate time management, organizational, and professional communication skills.
Duties
The ideal candidate will have experience filing documents within the Maryland Workers’ Compensation claims system; requesting and obtaining medical records; speaking directly with clients and insurance adjusters; and otherwise handling the overall claims process.

- The candidate must have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume case environment.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and demonstrate time management, organizational, and professional communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrate proficiency and experience with computer software.
- Prior Workers Compensation experience is preferred, but not a mandatory requirement

Base Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
