Plaintiff’s personal injury firm is looking for a litigation Paralegal. This position will work directly with one attorney on federal court cases. You must have at least 5 years of experience handling federal court cases and know the filing procedures, Local Rules, and discovery requirements. You will be required to:
- Maintain case files and have strong computer skills
- Prepare and respond to all discovery requests
- Prepare, file and schedule motions, hearing and other pleadings
- Organize exhibits, documents and prepare mediation and trial binders
- Maintain calendars, deadlines and provide status update
- Have knowledge of both Federal and State court procedures and E-Filing
- Be highly organized with procedural skills
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be detail oriented with the ability to analyze and problem solve
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
