Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, coordination, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and social workers to coordinate patient care.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) management systems to document progress, treatment plans, and patient outcomes accurately.
- Provide behavioral interventions and support for patients with mental health or behavioral challenges.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, home exercises, and adaptive techniques to promote ongoing progress.
- Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy practices, including hyperbaric medicine and telehealth platforms for remote consultations.
Skills
- Proven experience working with culturally diverse communities to deliver inclusive and respectful care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to ensure patient safety during treatments.
- Expertise in wound care management and patient treatment planning for various conditions.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote patient assessments and follow-up sessions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to foster understanding and engagement.
- Knowledge of behavioral interventions tailored to individual needs within a holistic treatment approach.

Pay: $46.72 - $56.27 per hour
