The blaster will be the foreman of the drilling and blasting crew on quarry, pipeline, construction or demolition blasting projects across America. This role will lead with a safety mindset for themselves and all other employees on the team. As a blaster, you will be responsible for following the site specific blast plan, creation of drill patterns, setting up seismographs, product selection [bulk or packaged explosives], coordinating blasts with the contractor, attending safety meetings, accurately filling out trip manifests and blast reports, among many other duties. The blaster will also need to have or attain shortly after becoming employed by Dykon, a CDL license along with a Hazardous Materials [Haz-Mat] endorsement.
