Duties
- Assemble components and equipment accurately using hand tools, power tools, and assembly line procedures
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials and parts within the manufacturing facility
- Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure precise assembly of products
- Inspect parts and finished products for quality, identifying any defects or issues during the process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members at the plant to meet production targets
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
- Uncrate and wire/assemble packaging equipment
Skills
- Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility, preferably on an assembly line
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially operating forklifts safely (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols and best practices
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout shifts
