Job Title: Flex Shop Operator
Reports to: Production Manager
Type: Full Time M-F 5am-130pm
Job Description:
This Position is an operator for the grinding and polishing of glass parts to specific dimensions. This involves checking size and flatness of machinery with a micrometer. The flex shop operator is responsible for various maintenance activities on the grinders and polishers.
The following tasks are expected to be performed on a daily basis:
1. Read, understand and utilize work instructions associated with the position
2. Operate and maintain grinders and polishers
3. Operate computer to access required lengths to customer specifications
4. Report any maintencance issues immeditly to production manager
5. Use of a micrometer daily
6. Must be able to lift over 20 pounds
7. Must be able to stand for duration of shift
8. Maintain an adequately clean work environment
9. Great communication skills
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
