Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. A.A./B.A./B.S. in Education or another human services field is strongly recommended. Experience working with children in a professional or volunteer setting is required. You must have three years of experience in a child care center to be considered for this position. You will be working with children ages six weeks to five years old, but will be focused on the ages of six weeks to two years old. A love for children is a must. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation and come to work on a daily basis. If you have applied for a position with us within the last year, please do not reapply. Your shift will be 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.. You will work Monday - Friday. Never on weekends or nights.
Continuing professional development is part of our work culture. We have at least five paid staff development days build into our yearly calendar. Candidates should be capable of being physically active for long periods of the day. Starting hourly pay rate is more than six dollars over minimum wage. We also offer our full time staff excellent benefits! Over 25 paid days off annually. Healthy meals provided daily (if desired) at no extra cost.
Westminster Child Care Center offers paid trainings. We will pay for you to acquire your ten hour pre service training. We will also ensure that you receive proper training before you are included in our student/teacher ratio within our classrooms.

Pay: $19.90 - $21.50 per hour
