Join our team as a Mover and become a part of our operations! In this energetic role. You will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading goods within NYC. Your proactive approach will ensure materials are handled safely and accurately, supporting seamless commercial moves.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload shipments
- Work as a team member with other crew members
- Assist with packing to ensure safe moving of office equipment
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery operations
- Handle manual lifting of goods, adhering to proper manual handling techniques to prevent injuries
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, supporting overall safety and efficiency
Skills
- Experience in commerical/residential moving
- Strong understanding of materials handling
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols including OSHA regulations for heavy equipment operation and manual handling
- Prior moving experience is a plus but not required; a proactive attitude is essential
