Aeroteams is now hiring Avionics Mechanics for work in Wilmington, OH. Positions will be starting on August 3rd and interviews are being held now.
- Work will be on the FQIS mod - Fuel Quantity Wire Separation Mod
- Requires replacing existing FQIS wire segments with new, improved segments to prevent corrosion and maintain proper electrical grounding
- Typical gross take home per completed project: $3,600 upon successful completion of the assigned project.
- Quality Completion Bonus: Additional $400 paid 90 days after project completion, contingent upon satisfactory quality performance and no identified quality issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience performing aircraft wiring modifications and installations.
- Experience with wire splicing, repair, and termination techniques.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Experience using the Standard Wiring Practices Manual (SWPM).
- Familiarity with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).
- Experience working from Engineering Orders (EOs) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs).
- Knowledge of EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) requirements.
- Experience routing and securing wire bundles in accordance with aircraft standards.
- Familiarity with connector pinning, depinning, and repining procedures.
- Experience performing continuity, insulation resistance, and circuit integrity checks.
- Ability to identify and repair damaged wiring, connectors, and back shells.
- Familiarity with fuel tank safety procedures and fuel system maintenance precautions.
- Experience installing and terminating shielded and twisted-pair wiring.
- Knowledge of wire separation requirements for power and signal.
- Use of proper tooling and practices to protect wiring.
- 3 years prior avionics experience working on commerical Boeing aircraft
