Overnight Security Attendant is to patrol the buildings and grounds of the Association and may maintain records of who enters or leaves the property, either at a front desk or a front gate. They may keep track of signing visitors in and out and monitor incoming deliveries. Security Gate Attendants generally assist with providing guests with information and directions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately.
- Conduct routine patrols to identify irregularities and inspect security systems, protective devices, and fire control equipment.
- Greet and assist incoming guests and tenants, providing information about the site and the surrounding area as needed.
- Monitor and secure premises to prevent theft, property damage, violence, and violations of safety or site rules.
- Support fire prevention, safety compliance, maintenance tasks, and parking/traffic enforcement as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation: $14.50/hour; direct experience highly considered.
Work Type: Permanent PT position, 28 hours weekly. A flexible schedule is desirable.

- Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience
Certifications or Licenses
- Location Specific License
Working Conditions
- Non-Typical office environment (frequent standing, walking, talking, etc.), both inside activities and outside activities.
- Overtime required (on-call, weekends, 24hr emergency, etc.)
