We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Manager to lead leasing operations, drive occupancy goals, and foster a positive resident experience.
Position Summary
The Leasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the leasing operations of multiple properties throughout Long Beach and surrounding areas. This role focuses on maximizing occupancy, increasing resident satisfaction, and achieving leasing goals through effective marketing, team leadership, and customer service.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong sales and leasing experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating thriving communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing Operations
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and local demand to optimize rental rates and leasing incentives.
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including prospect tours, applications, lease execution, renewals, and move-ins.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and leasing regulations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and prospects.
- Respond to resident concerns and escalations professionally and effectively.
- Monitor leasing performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and mentor leasing team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing development opportunities.
- Establish goals and accountability measures for leasing staff.
- Promote a collaborative, customer-focused team environment.
Marketing & Resident Retention
- Partner with marketing teams to develop and execute leasing campaigns.
- Evaluate advertising effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Implement resident retention initiatives to increase lease renewals.
- Maintain a strong online presence through review management and community engagement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of property management and leasing experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of leasing practices, Fair Housing regulations, and resident relations.
- Proven track record of achieving occupancy and revenue goals.
- Excellent communication, sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
- Biligual in Spanish - Required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple communities.
- Knowledge of Yardi, AppFolio, or similar property management systems.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
