POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, this position includes a wide variety of maintenance and custodial duties in order to provide a safe, clean and orderly environment. Maintenance staff performs maintenance and custodial duties in and around campus facilities; troubleshoots, performs minor repairs and responds to emergency calls for service; implements setup and takedown for a wide variety of campus and community events; works closely with Maintenance Director and YMCA employees and the public to meet facility needs; and resolves problems to ensure efficient and safe operations.
HOURS: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, possible on-call/as needed hours.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years old and have completed high school. Basic hand and power tool knowledge is preferred; on-the-job training provided. An understanding of facility systems and associated trades helpful.
