J-3 Professional Services is looking for a candidate that has experience in Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Systems (FEM) to support in the role of data configuration management specialist. There are approximately 5,000 user accounts within FEM. FEM provides an automated tracking and control system for managing facilities and equipment maintenance, project planning, equipment calibration, equipment maintenance contracts, inventory control, equipment purchases and costs, material and labor, equipment dispatches and tool management throughout enterprise Air Force.
Responsibilities:
- Lead/manage technical team with application development & modifications
- Analyze, implement, and document changes/requirements development, ensuring compliance with configuration management policies
- Follow configuration control and documentation procedures
- Identify, analyze, and document changes/requirements development to the customer, ensuring transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement
- Support an iterative development process using Agile methodologies
- Conduct software vulnerability scans using approved code-validation software
- Other reviews/scans as necessary
- Follow configuration control and documentation procedures
- Application testing, regression testing and integration
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualification and Skills. The contractor for Enterprise Management Information System (EMIS) shall have or gain many of the following skills:
- 5+ years configuration management, software development, or related experience
- 5+ years experience with programming languages such as SQL, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Maximo, and Oracle
- In-depth understanding of configuration management concepts and related government rules and concepts
- Understand complex programming techniques including but not limited to programming languages, software standards, methods and tools
- Self-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervision
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to anticipate potential problems and act to minimize their impact
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Must possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level II certification
- Must be able to work onsite at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia
- Must be able to dedicate 8 hours between 0600 and 1700 EST.

- Prior experience demonstrating general application of government configuration management concepts and principles
- Demonstrate ability to implement agile development methodologies, tools, and processes in an operational environment

Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business computer science, software engineering, or related discipline and 5+ years related configuration management and/or software engineering experience
- 5+ years experience with programming languages such as SQL, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Maximo, and Oracle
