We are currently looking for an on-site Speech Language Pathologist to work with children in a school setting in Mississippi.
The right candidate will have experience working in the education sector.
Candidate must have a master's degree in speech-language pathology. Clinical fellows will be considered. Must be eligible for 215 endorsement from Mississippi Department of Education as a Speech Language Clinician.
1099 Contract Position
Indirect and direct hours compensated at same rate
Caseload cap of 48 students
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individual Education Programs for students who qualify for speech and/or language services,which may include direct individual or group therapy, consulting, and/or monitoring ofprogress
- Perform speech and language evaluations to include observations if necessary.
- Confer with appropriate personnel about student services/needs.
- Make recommendations regarding service delivery and the student's needs to the IEP team forteam consensus.
- Attend meetings, such as IEP meetings and conferencesf.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate professional records and reports
- Provide consultation/training to classroom staff regarding speech and language needs and programs of the students.

Pay: $54.00 - $55.00 per hour
