Job Overview
ATA Guard Security Provider is hiring dependable and professional Armed Security Officers, Unarmed Security Officers, and Fire Watch Officers for temporary assignments throughout Florida. Assignments range from one-day events to multi-week and long-term projects. We are seeking officers who are reliable, flexible, and ready to work with short notice.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols.
- Observe and report suspicious or unsafe activity.
- Complete accurate incident reports and activity logs.
- Follow all post orders and client instructions.
- Monitor fire hazards and perform required fire watch patrols when assigned.
- Respond professionally to emergencies and notify the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a professional appearance and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Security License (Class D required for Security Officers).
- Valid Florida Class G License for Armed Security positions.
- Fire Watch experience is preferred but not required (training may be provided).
- Reliable transportation.
- Smartphone required for scheduling, GPS, and reporting.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must pass a background screening and be authorized to work in the United States.
