Jumpstart Learning Center is currently seeking Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Floaters who are very passionate about educating children and enjoy what they do. All positions share the responsibilities of lesson planning, implementing daily activities, observations, sanitation, potty training, serving meals, daily reports, classroom management, cleaning, and providing children with a fun and safe learning environment. We are looking for someone with the minimum education required of ahigh school diploma, 18 years or older, and with childcare experience. Must pass background check, maintain yearly clock hours (12) and have a current physical and TB testing.
Teacher are responsible for:
- Leading and developing creative hands-on inquiry-based activities and projects.
- Engaging children while promoting physical, cogitative, social and emotional development during play.
- Observe children’s interests and skills when creating lesson plans.
- Document and share with parents the important milestones in a child’s day.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop a creative curriculum that is designed to instill in children a love of learning.
Education: Individuals must have a minimum of a CDA, some course work in Early Childhood Education, or be willing to go to take courses to obtain a certificate or degree.
Schedule:
Day Shift 6:00am - 3:00pm, 7:00am - 4:00pm, 8:00am -5:00pm, 9:00am – 6:00pm and amazing overnight shift 2:00pm – 11:00pm or 11:00pm-7:00am
Pay: $13 to $17.00 /hour
