MLS SUPPORT SPECIALIST
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for creating a positive Multiple Listing Service (MLS) customer experience by providing superior level of customer service.
This position may be based out of either San Antonio or New Braunfels office location, depending on organizational needs and candidate fit.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide exceptional customer service to individuals who are current MLS customers.
· Develop a working knowledge of the various types of MLS memberships offered by the association and the benefits of MLS membership.
· Become familiar with the MLS in general and the various supplemental services that are offered to members including required forms, fees, policies and procedures, and technology capabilities.
· Answer questions and provide assistance to MLS customers on software included with their membership (currently connectMLS, Courthouse Retrieval Systems, ShowingTime, ListTrac, etc.) whether in person, via mail, over the phone, or email.
· Document all pertinent customer interactions in specified ticketing software in a complete and timely manner, including the problem solving process through to resolution
· Conduct brokerage transfers and agent terminations on behalf of broker and agent customers, including transferring listings to new brokerage when applicable.
· Report and Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved
· Prioritize and escalate product and service issues to MLS Manager for deeper analysis
· Review IDX/VOW/BBO agreements, vendor demos, and websites for compliance reviews.
· Answer questions and provide assistance about IDX/VOW, BBO services that LERA MLS offers.
· Have general knowledge of LERA MLS MLS Rules & Regulations and answer common questions to aid customers in correcting violations of LERA MLS MLS Rules & Regulations without escalation
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 1 year experience in customer service environment managing inquires in person or via other forms of communication
· Ability to provide accurate information in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Proficient in adapting to new technologies
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
· Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
