Responsibilities include:
- Offering academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings

- Supporting student mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks

To qualify for school-based opportunities, you’ll need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- One of the following: Active ParaPro certificate, Substitute Teaching certification, or at least 36 college credits
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to complete a TB test (per district requirement)
- Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
- Current clearances (or willingness to obtain them prior to starting)
Preferred background includes experience in education, special education, behavioral health, child care, or supporting students with special needs. CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are a plus but not required. A reliable, collaborative, and patient approach is highly desired.
