We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intermodal Drayage Dispatcher to join our operations team. This role is critical in ensuring our drivers are supported, customers are updated, and freight moves smoothly every day.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch intermodal drayage loads to company drivers and owner-operators.
- Manage daily driver schedules, track loads, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers, brokers, and carriers regarding freight status.
- Resolve issues such as delays, equipment availability, or accessorial requirements.
- Monitor driver ELD and compliance with HOS regulations.
- Maintain accurate records in TMS (transportation management system).
- Collaborate with safety, maintenance, and customer service teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Build positive working relationships with drivers to support retention and performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
