Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Child Care Teacher for Pre-K to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, guiding them through their early stages of development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a deep understanding of childhood development principles to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lessons that aligns with early childhood and our flexible curriculum.
- Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive learning environment conducive to student engagement.
- Plan and conduct lessons in various subjects, including math and physical education, ensuring they cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to support child welfare and development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment while promoting health and hygiene practices among students.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices in curriculum development and classroom management.
- Communicate with parents about child daily learning and play.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Knowledge of TRS is a plus but not required.
- Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and tutoring is highly desirable.
- Experience with classroom management.
- Experience with classroom tranisitions.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early learners is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with young children effectively.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment that prioritizes child welfare.
- 1 year minimum of childcare experience with 3 to 5 year olds.
