Saddlebrook Golf Club is seeking a dependable, hard-working Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our maintenance team. We're looking for someone with experience operating landscaping equipment who takes pride in quality work and enjoys working outdoors.
This is a full-time seasonal position (40 hours per week) with the opportunity for continued employment based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial riding mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment
Perform daily mowing, trimming, edging, and general property maintenance
Safely operate chainsaws for tree and brush cleanup when needed
Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Assist with irrigation repairs and other golf course improvement projects
Help maintain bunkers, landscaped areas, cart paths, and clubhouse grounds
Work safely and efficiently as part of the maintenance team
Qualifications
Experience operating commercial lawn and landscape equipment
Comfortable using riding mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, and other power equipment
Basic mechanical ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Golf course experience is helpful but not required. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in landscaping, lawn care, parks maintenance, construction, farming, or similar outdoor trades.
Schedule
Approximately 40 hours per week
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Occasional weekend mornings during peak season
Competitive hourly wage based on experience + Free Golf
