Our Cleveland–Solon location is seeking a dependable Part-Time Hotel Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping facilities safe, functional, and guest-ready. We are especially interested in candidates with prior hotel maintenance experience, preferably within Hilton-branded properties.
Position Summary
The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the hotel's guest rooms, public areas, and building systems to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and team members. This position performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs while supporting Hilton brand standards and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and complete assigned maintenance schedules
- Assist with room inspections to ensure all facilities meet Hilton brand standards
- Maintain hotel equipment, tools, and maintenance supplies in an organized manner
- Support emergency maintenance situations as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and property procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to resolve maintenance concerns efficiently
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous hotel maintenance experience strongly preferred; Hilton experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general building maintenance
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, bending, and reaching
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Schedule
- Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week
- Flexible shifts available
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required
