K-8 Paraprofessional
Ethos Academy – Glendale, Arizona
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Ethos Academy is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and student-focused K-8 Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children in a school setting, strong classroom management skills, and a passion for helping students achieve academic success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in implementing instructional activities and student interventions.
- Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic concepts.
- Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers to identify and address student learning needs.
- Maintain consistent communication with teachers and administration regarding student progress.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.
- Support effective classroom management and behavior expectations.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, bus duty, and extended care as assigned.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and required trainings.
- Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and clerical tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children in a classroom or school setting required.
- Strong computer skills and basic technology proficiency.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and accept feedback, coaching, and direction.
- Flexible, solution-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to providing excellent service to students, families, and staff.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Arizona Paraprofessional Certification.
- Experience supporting students in grades K-8.
- Experience working in a charter school environment.
Requirements
Candidates must possess or be able to obtain:
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid Certification
