Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Class B Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking and transporting goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role involves driving a vacuum truck, managing routes, and ensuring timely pick-ups. A strong focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations is essential. Ability to possess or obtain a tanker endorsement required.
Duties
- Safely operate a vacuum truck to pick up products at designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely pick-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of pick-ups, including any discrepancies or issues encountered.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns during deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in route driving or similar roles is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes as necessary.
