Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using toast POS system
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by pre-bussing tables and managing sanitation protocols
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, including cash handling
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments,
- Familiarity with POS systems such as toast POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and transaction processing
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest experience
