American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift hospital position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting

Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
-
Assignment length of 20 weeks to provide winter coverage, with 13-week contracts also considered

Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required

Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent MS/Telemetry experience required

Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS

NIHSS certification preferred

One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Charge RN references accepted for reference requirement

Provide telemetry nursing care to medical-surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to achieve a passing score

PBDS assessment is waived for this position

Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement

Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Extensions available for up to 18 months total on assignment, with a required 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved

Candidates with prior permanent or per diem employment at this health system must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning
