Job Overview:
W.A. Petrakis Contracting is seeking a skilled and reliable Triaxle Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, as well as the ability to work in various construction environments. Home daily. M-F
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as millings, asphalt, and stone to designated locations on construction sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean truck environment and truck bed
Skills:
- 3 years experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment within a construction environment.
- Basic Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required.
- OSHA 10 required/OSHA 30 (preferred).
