We are conducting a confidential search for a Demand Planner to join a growing organization with a collaborative, cross-functional supply chain team. This role is critical to the company's S&OP/IBP process, driving demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and business planning through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain statistical demand forecasts using historical trends, seasonality, and market intelligence.
- Lead the demand planning portion of the monthly S&OP/IBP process.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy (MAPE) and forecast bias through KPI reporting and root cause analysis.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to build consensus demand plans.
- Support new product launches, product lifecycle planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement of forecasting processes, planning systems, and data quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics experience.
- Experience with S&OP/IBP processes and statistical forecasting methodologies.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with demand planning software such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Logility, o9, E2open, John Galt, or similar.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Background in consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution, or CPG environments.
- APICS CPIM or IBF Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF) certification (or in progress).
Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
