Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess clients’ needs for windows, doors, and related renovation projects
- Present product demos and layout designs using various tools to illustrate options clearly and convincingly
- Develop customized proposals by applying strong negotiation skills to meet client budgets while upselling premium features and accessories
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, including product selection, pricing, financing options, and closing deals
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction post-sale
- Maintain detailed account management records, follow up on leads, and nurture long-term client relationships
- Utilize marketing strategies to generate new leads and expand the customer base through community engagement or digital outreach
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales, preferably within renovation, construction, or high-end home improvement sectors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of remodeling processes, interior design principles, lighting sales, and maintenance practices related to windows and doors
- Skilled in negotiation, upselling techniques, and customer service to foster trust and close sales effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, retail math, merchandising strategies and stock management
- Organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently while ensuring timely follow-up and documentation
- Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and project estimations; experience with retail math is advantageous
