Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at our hotel. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide check-in/check-out services with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Assist guests with reservations, cancellations, and modifications, ensuring seamless guest experiences
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Handle guest requests promptly, including special accommodations or troubleshooting issues
- Support night audit procedures as needed, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting compliance
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations to foster positive interactions
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth hotel operations
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
- Hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory for all applicants
