Description:
St. Peter Catholic School, in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Cafeteria Worker. The ideal candidate will provide a cordial atmosphere for school students and staff; bring applicable knowledge and skills; and foster a positive team morale. This position is part-time, based on a 20-hour workweek, and reports to the principal.
Essential Duties

Set up cafeteria before lunch and clean up after

Processes POS Transactions

Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

Restock napkin dispensers

Assist with food preparation and production

Clean lunch dishes and commercial food production equipment

Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be organized and efficient

Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Qualifications

Must have or be willing to obtain Kansas City Food Handler Certification

Customer service experience is preferred

Prior cafeteria or food services experience is preferred
