Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facilities while ensuring that all laundry services meet our high standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel or similar environment and possess skills in laundering and dry cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures, ensuring high-quality results.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items as per hotel standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with additional housekeeping tasks as needed to support the overall cleanliness of the facility.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques including dry cleaning processes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
