This position combines administrative responsibilities with field work in healthcare environments. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates confidently, pays close attention to detail, and is eager to learn a specialized profession.
Previous knowledge of NFPA 80, NFPA 101, NFPA 105, Life Safety Code, fire and smoke door inspections, or healthcare compliance is a plus, but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform annual fire and smoke door inspections in hospitals and healthcare facilities after completing company training.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation using company software and Microsoft Office.
- Document inspection findings through detailed notes and photographs.
- Communicate professionally with hospital staff, facility managers, and customers.
- Learn and apply NFPA 80, NFPA 101, NFPA 105, and company inspection procedures.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and administrative documentation.
- Represent Advantech professionally while working in healthcare environments.
- Support additional administrative and operational activities as needed.
QualificationsRequired
- Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the company in healthcare environments.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn and grow professionally.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Spanish language skills.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Experience in an administrative, customer service, project coordination, or field service role.
- Experience working in hospitals or healthcare facilities.
- Knowledge of NFPA 80, NFPA 101, NFPA 105, Life Safety Code, fire and smoke door inspections, or healthcare compliance.
Physical Requirements
This position includes both office and field responsibilities. The selected candidate should be able to:
- Walk throughout healthcare facilities for extended periods.
- Use a tablet or laptop to complete digital inspection reports.
- Take photographs and document inspection findings.
- Occasionally lift or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
