Position Overview
The Armed Security Account Manager is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and administration of security operations at a Homeland Security-sensitive facility. This position requires exceptional leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, security, and client relations.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Assigned to a Homeland Security-sensitive site requiring the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and operational readiness.
- Must successfully pass an extensive pre-employment screening process, including:
- Criminal background investigation
- Initial pre-employment drug screening
- Physical and mental fitness evaluation
- Firearms proficiency qualification
- Must possess a valid New York State Armed Security Guard registration and maintain all required licenses, certifications, and qualifications throughout employment.
- Must successfully complete all required site-specific training and demonstrate proficiency in post orders, emergency response procedures, security technology, and client protocols.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, emergencies, and provide coverage as operational needs require.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day security operations for the assigned account.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate all assigned security personnel.
- Conduct employee training, post inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all client policies, company standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and emergency response operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the client and Mid-Hudson Security Consultants.
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain a professional relationship with client representatives and partnering law enforcement or government agencies.
- Ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, property, and critical infrastructure while maintaining operational continuity.
Note: Months leading up to full staffing, you will be tasked with getting the site in order based on your lead from scratched with the support of our management team.
Pay: $76,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
