Job Overview
At Protection Plus, we equip tax and accounting professionals with the tools, support, and expertise they need to take their businesses to the next level and we want to be sure the people who need us can find us, trust us, and feel supported every step of the way.
That’s where you come in. The Digital Brand & Growth Manager will own how Protection Plus shows up online — search results, social communities, in the content tax professionals share with their client’s, and in the data that tells us what’s working. This is a role for someone who loves building things, is a problem solver, and genuinely wants the work they do to matter.
You’ll wear a few hats here and we think the right person will see that as an opportunity to soar. If you’re the kind of professional who thrives when you’re trusted with real ownership and given room to build something that will help support systems for years to come, we’d love to talk.
Ways You Will Contribute
Community Presence, Content, Search & Online Visibility
- Drive the content calendar — articles, guides, blog posts, and resources structured to rank in Google search and AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity
- Manage a syndication program that delivers Protection Plus content to partner firm websites
- Support the development of educational materials — helping shape topics, organize presentations, and keep resources accurate
- Manage our social media presence end-to-end
- Build a system that ensures the right response gets to the right place quickly whenever a relevant conversation surfaces — showing up authentically in the online communities where tax professionals spend time as a resource and support system to help solve the pain points they’re experiencing
- Develop and test content strategies aimed at taxpayers directly — helping us understand how and where to reach them as we explore expanding beyond the professional market
Brand Monitoring & Analytics
- Set up and maintain a monitoring stack — Google Alerts, Search Console, GA4, Google Trends — for a clear, ongoing picture of brand health
- Own analytics across Google Tag Manager, HotJar, and Apollo — making sure we're capturing what actually matters
- Build reporting rhythms and translate numbers into next steps — recommendations, not just observations
- Support early-stage market research into the taxpayer-facing opportunity: gauging interest, understanding what drives purchase decisions, identifying the right audience segments, and helping us think through long-term scalability
Who You Are
We're less interested in checking boxes and more interested in finding someone who will excel in this role. Here are some of the qualities that we think will make for a great fit:
- You are solutions oriented. When you see a problem, your instinct is to find a solution that is sustainable.
- AI is part of how you work. You use it regularly, you know its limits, and you know how to get the most out of it.
- You write clearly and you write well. You know how to make the most of today's tools, including AI, but you don’t let them do all the thinking. Your writing is thoughtful, authentic, and unmistakably human.
- You’re a natural in online spaces. You know which platforms people trust, how conversations move differently on each one, and how to show up in a way that helps rather than interrupts.
- You’re comfortable with data. You like looking at numbers, asking what they mean, and knowing what to do next.
- You can manage a lot without losing the thread. This role covers real ground. You stay organized, communicate well, and know when to ask for help.
- You care about doing good work. Not because someone’s watching — just because that’s how you operate.
Bonus Skills
- Hands-on SEO or AEO experience — you’ve done the work, not just read about it
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, GA4, GTM, HotJar, or Apollo
- Any experience with content syndication or partner content programs
- Comfort with basic design tools — Canva, Adobe Express, or similar
Tools You Will Work With
You don’t need to walk in an expert in all of these — but you’ll build real fluency across the stack:
- Google Suite (Search Console, Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Alerts, Trends)
- HotJar + Apollo — behavioral analytics and contact intelligence
- ClickUp — project management and workflow
- Claude / AI platforms — research, drafting, and analysis
- Salesforce + Marketing Cloud — CRM and campaign context
- Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Social platforms (X, Reddit, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Design tools (Canva or similar — a plus)
Why Join Us ?

We are looking for powerhouses that can join our team to help us do just that, while hitting their personal growth goals, too. Here's a few things specific to this role and our company that we think are worth mentioning:
- This role was built with intention and the desire to bring more to the table
- You’ll have genuine ownership of taking this role and running with it
- We’re serious about AI as a real part of how we operate, not a buzzword
- The work connects to something real — tax professionals rely on us, and that’s a good feeling to carry into work every day
