Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript frameworks like React and Express.
- Design scalable system architectures employing microservices, RESTful APIs, and design patterns to ensure flexibility and future growth.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, prioritize tasks, and deliver features efficiently using CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub, Git, SVN, and Jenkins.
- Implement cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging AWS and Azure to support application deployment, scalability, and security.
- Optimize database systems including MySQL and SQL Server for performance tuning, data integrity, and efficient data retrieval.
- Integrate APIs for seamless communication between different systems while ensuring security through RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) protocols.
- Conduct system design reviews focusing on system development best practices for reliability, scalability, and security in web development projects.
- Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and documentation efforts to uphold high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software engineering with a strong background in IT infrastructure, web development, or application development.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript (and related frameworks), Python, Java, C#, C++, C, VBA or.NET technologies.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of system design principles for scalable systems with an emphasis on performance optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN along with CI/CD processes for automated deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of database management using MySQL or SQL Server; experience with SQL query optimization is a plus.
- Strong grasp of software design patterns and best practices for front-end (React) and back-end development.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across teams.

Pay: $66,480.45 - $80,062.48 per year
