Willows Prep School is seeking a dedicated Head coach for our 5th/6th grade co-ed Soccer program to join our athletics team. Working alongside the other coaches, you'll help organize, coordinate, and promote a comprehensive Soccer program that advances our school's mission. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with the other coaches and athletics director to create programming to teach the fundamentals of Soccer. Maintain compliance with Crosstown Middle School League and Willows Prep School requirements. Plan and organize all practice sessions in advance, providing instruction and training in Soccer fundamentals.
Supervise the team during all activities including travel, and effectively communicate with the Athletics Department, players, parents, colleagues, and league members. Maintain and inventory facility and equipment needs, submitting requests as necessary. Represent the school professionally within the community and actively promote the athletics program.
Teach and promote sportsmanship, fair play, and character development, ensuring all team members and spectators uphold high standards of conduct at all times.
Required Qualifications
● Education - High school diploma required.
● Experience - Previous coaching experience preferred.
● Certifications - CPR/AED/First Aid certification (with epinephrine autoinjector supplement) required, or must obtain within 90 days of employment.
● Compliance - Must meet CTMSL and Willows Prep requirements prior to season start.
● Authorization - Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer (sponsorship not available).

Physical Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods, lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds, and making visual and auditory evaluations of athletes' performances. Work includes time in climate-controlled spaces and travel outdoors between buildings.
