Tech 2000 Woodworks is a growing architectural millwork manufacturer seeking a motivated Draftsperson to join our team in Jeannette, PA.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with a production team, and seeing projects go from concept to installation. While experience in architectural millwork is a plus, we’re willing to train someone with strong drafting skills and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do:
As part of our engineering team, you will:
· Create and revise shop drawings using AutoCAD
· Convert architectural plans into detailed, production-ready shop drawings
· Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, Engineering, and Production throughout each project
· Help solve design and manufacturing challenges for custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
· Support projects from design through fabrication
· Create bills of materials
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum 1-2 years of AutoCAD experience in a professional setting
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
· Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Microvellum or a willingness to learn
· Architectural millwork or cabinetry experience
· Manufacturing or woodworking background
