Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols and under supervision
- Operate EHR systems efficiently for documentation of patient information, ICD coding, and treatment plans
- Support physicians with clinical tasks such as performing X-rays, taking vital signs, and assisting during procedures in OR or emergency settings
- Maintain accurate medical records adhering to HIPAA regulations and hospital policies
- Provide patient service by answering questions, offering emotional support, and ensuring a positive experience
- Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining inventory of supplies
Qualifications
- basic Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn EHR system
- Ability to work effectively in outpatient or inpatient settings across diverse specialties including pain management and neurology
- Fluent in Arabic
