Job purpose
Service technicians work on traditional mechanical components, such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, A/C and electrical. Technicians must be familiar with a growing number of electronic systems. Braking, transmission, steering and A/C systems, all controlled primarily by computers and electronic components. Service Technicians/Mechanics are responsible to inspect, maintain, and repair automobiles/SUV's with a high regard for accuracy. Must have your own tools. Duties and responsibilities
- Identify mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
- Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings
- Disassemble and reassemble parts
- Use testing equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective
Qualifications
Qualifications to include but not limited to:
- Brakes/ Front end experience preferred: Certifications are a plus
- Great attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detailed oriented
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Working well with others in a group setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour

Experience:
