Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an OR Circulating Nurse. We are seeking a plastic surgery circulating LPN or RN to join our Plastic Surgery and MedAesthetics practice for our Manhattan and Great Neck locations. Please note that this position requires a few days a week in both Manhattan and Great Neck. Must be comfortable with commuting 1-3 days a week. The OR Circulating Nurse will be responsible for monitoring the surgical environment, ensuring patient safety, coordinating surgical teams, managing supplies and equipment, and providing real-time support to surgeons during procedures. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Please only apply if you have at least three (3) years experience in an operating room circulating and recovering.
- Surgical Nursing skills including experience in perioperative and operating room settings
- Proficiency in Nursing practices and principles
- Knowledge of Medicine as it pertains to surgical care
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Current RN license in the state of New York
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Experience in plastic surgery is a plus
