Assembler / Installer – Power Tool Experience Required

Job Summary
Know Further Logistics is hiring dependable 1099 independent contractors to complete outdoor delivery, assembly, installation, and repair projects.
This is an independent contractor position, not W-2 employment. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes. Work assignments and hours may vary based on project availability.
Applicants must already have basic experience using power tools. This position is not suitable for someone who has never operated a drill, impact driver, socket set, or similar equipment. We will provide training on our installation processes, products, and job-site expectations, but applicants must arrive with basic mechanical ability and hands-on tool experience.
Projects may include playsets, gazebos, pergolas, recreational equipment, furniture, event structures, and other residential or commercial installations.
This is not a single-site position. Contractors travel directly to assigned job sites, which may change daily. Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle and cannot depend on rides from others, Uber/Lyft, or public transportation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, assemble, install, and repair equipment and structures
- Safely operate drills, impact drivers, socket sets, wrenches, levels, ladders, and other tools
- Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and project directions
- Measure, align, level, secure, and adjust materials and equipment
- Load, unload, carry, and organize tools and materials
- Identify basic assembly or installation problems and report concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area
- Communicate professionally with team members, project coordinators, and customers
- Travel directly to assigned job sites and arrive on time
Minimum Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience using power tools
- Ability to safely operate a drill and impact driver without basic instruction
- Basic mechanical ability and understanding of how parts fit together
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 75 pounds or more
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Dependable, punctual, and prepared to complete accepted assignments
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working from ladders and completing physically demanding tasks
- Must provide required basic tools when assigned
- Must be willing to work as a 1099 independent contractor
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:
- Assembly or installation
- Construction or carpentry
- Handyman or maintenance work
- Furniture assembly
- Mechanical repair
- Playset, gazebo, pergola, or recreational-equipment installation
Full-time and part-time project availability may be offered based on workload.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
