We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about animal health. This role plays a key part in patient care and client communication, supporting both the doctors and the broader medical team. Credentialed technicians are preferred, but experienced technicians with natural leadership abilities will also be considered.
Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and medical procedures
Perform diagnostic tests and analyze laboratory samples (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecals, etc.)
Prepare animals and equipment for surgery; monitor anesthesia and recovery
Place IV catheters
Calculate and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate patient records and logs
Collect and process samples for testing
Provide client education and compassionate support
Handle and restrain animals safely and with care
Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, kennels, and equipment
Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies
Certification or license as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) preferred
Previous clinical experience in a veterinary setting (minimum 2 year preferred)
Strong animal handling skills and medical knowledge
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
