Final Phase is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaning Team Lead / Field Quality Lead to support our growing commercial cleaning team.
This is a hands-on field leadership role that includes cleaning, account inspections, cleaner training, quality control, and communication with office leadership. This position cannot be done from home or managed only over the phone. On-site inspections, in-person training, and field support are required.
The right person will earn respect by showing up, working alongside the team when needed, investigating problems directly, and helping create solutions. We are looking for someone who leads by example, communicates professionally, and can hold standards without creating conflict.
Schedule
- Approximately 25–35 hours per week to start
- Schedule may include daytime cleaning, inspections, training, and occasional evening/night account support
- Must be able to drive between multiple commercial cleaning accounts
- Additional hours may become available as the company grows
Pay
- Starting at $17/hour, based on experience
- 90-day performance review
- Future raises considered based on reliability, leadership, quality, communication, and ability to help accounts run smoothly
Responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning assigned commercial accounts
- Completing on-site account inspections
- Training new cleaners on account expectations
- Walking cleaners through scopes, checklists, supplies, and building access
- Taking photos and documenting issues when needed
- Checking bathrooms, floors, trash areas, breakrooms, common areas, and supply closets
- Making sure cleaners have needed supplies and equipment
- Checking chemical bottles, vacuum bags, rags, mop buckets, closets, and cleaning tools
- Reporting low supplies, maintenance concerns, access issues, or client concerns
- Working alongside cleaners when needed to understand the account, issue, or training gap
- Bringing possible solutions or recommendations, not just reporting problems
- Coaching cleaners respectfully and helping them improve
- Supporting new account start-ups
- Using company systems for inspections, notes, photos, and communication
- Communicating with office leadership about account needs, cleaner performance, and follow-up items
Requirements
- Management or leadership experience required
- Commercial janitorial supervisor experience preferred, but not required
- Commercial cleaning or janitorial experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone required
- Ability to travel between job sites
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks as needed
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong attendance and follow-through
- Comfortable using a smartphone app for clock-ins, checklists, photos, and inspections
