Starting Rates:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): $23/hour
- ABA Therapist: $20/hour
Interactive Kids is seeking ABA Therapists and RBTs to join our Adults & Adolescents team supporting individuals with significant behavioral and developmental needs.
This is not your typical ABA position. Our team works with clients who require a higher level of behavioral support, structure, and consistency across school, community, and stabilization-based settings.
We’re looking for staff who can remain composed during difficult moments, build strong rapport with clients, and work collaboratively with a supportive clinical team.
In this position, you may:
- Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support services
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs
- Support clients with communication, emotional regulation, coping, and daily living skills
- Utilize proactive behavior strategies and approved crisis intervention techniques when necessary
- Work in a variety of environments including stabilization settings, community-based locations, and homes
- Collect behavioral data and complete session documentation
- Participate in team collaboration and clinical discussions
- Assist with personal care tasks when needed, including hygiene, feeding, and toileting support
- Help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients and staff
This role may be a strong fit for someone who:
- Has prior experience supporting individuals with behavioral or developmental challenges, at least 1 year required
- Is comfortable working with high-intensity behaviors including aggression, self-injury, or elopement
- Can stay calm and professional in fast-moving situations
- Enjoys working as part of a highly collaborative team
- Is open to feedback, coaching, and continued skill development
- Wants hands-on clinical experience in a challenging but rewarding setting
- Is interested in growing within the ABA or behavioral health field
RBT certification is preferred but not required.
The work is challenging, but meaningful. Many of the individuals we support require a level of care and consistency that can genuinely change the direction of their daily lives.
You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians, leadership, and team members who understand the intensity of the work and support one another.
This role provides valuable experience for individuals pursuing long-term careers in ABA, behavioral health, psychology, education, social work, or clinical services.
