As a key member of our team, you will facilitate patient interactions, manage medical records, and assist with clinical procedures across both Psychiatric care and Therapeutic outpatient services. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Collect patient information through intake forms, verify insurance details, and update medical records accurately.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to support clinical assessments.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness according to infection control protocols.
- Document medical encounters thoroughly using EMR/EHR systems while maintaining compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Support provider billing details.
- Support the office manager with specific delegated tasks related to office management and support.
- Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, managing patient inquiries, and coordinating referrals or follow-up care.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding for diagnoses, and pharmacology to ensure accurate communication and record-keeping.
- Collaborate effectively with referring providers, hospital case managers, and other behavioral health organizations.
- Uphold patient service excellence by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness at all times.
- Open to continuous learning opportunities as it relates to specific procedures provided in the office, such as TMS treatments. Willingness to obtain TMS training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a medical office setting with familiarity in medical office management and administrative support functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA privacy measures.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding, medical billing, pharmacology, and EMR/EHR systems.
- Experience working in a specialized care setting such as Behavioral Health is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and patient care activities.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork within diverse healthcare environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
